For those seeking a compact home studio guitar rig that can easily be brought to gigs, look no further than AMPED 3 from Blackstar, a 100W digital modeling floorboard amplifier with power reduction down to 1 or 20W, and designed to fit snuggly into your pedalboard. The AMPED 3 features six amp voices through the patented ISF tone control knob and three power amp responses (EL84, EL34, and 6L6) across its three footswitched channels (clean, crunch, and overdrive).

The AMPED 3 contains a surprising amount of features for such a compact amp, including built-in clean boosting with routing to either the preamp or power amp, footswitchable reverb with light and dark settings, master volume and presence control, selections for channel voicings, 3-band tone control, and Blackstar s advanced Cab Rig technology that lets you select between three fully mixed guitar rig tones and send the output over USB-C, balanced XLR, or the 1 4 headphones jack. You also get plenty more I O for handling any scenario, stage or studio, such as a series FX loop, 3.5mm MIDI I O, 8- or 16-ohm speaker outputs, and two 9 VDC outputs for powering pedals in your board setup. AMPED 3 includes an IEC power cable as well as a built-in tuner.

On the Clean channel, you can switch between a warm or bright voicing, and on the Crunch channel, you can choose between crunch or super crunch. Finally, the Overdrive channel sports two different overdrive styles (OD1 or OD2) for further versatility.

The clean channel has a special clean boost that enhances fullness, which can be routed either before or after the preamp, and AMPED 3 also provides presence and master volume control for the final output. You also get Blackstar s patented ISF control, which lets you select from numerous American and British tube amp voices and, of course, switches for selecting power amp responses and power output (1, 20, or 100W), letting you reduce power down for bedroom practicing or studio recording.
